1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Profile and CV Data

You provide your CV content, professional narrative, target roles, compensation targets, and other career-related information during onboarding and through the Settings page. This data is stored securely and used solely to power the AI features of the Service.

Usage Data

We track feature usage (evaluations run, CVs generated, credits consumed) to enforce plan limits and improve the Service. We do not track browsing activity outside of the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize AI-powered career features
• To generate tailored CVs, evaluations, and interview prep based on your profile
• To manage your subscription and enforce credit limits
• To communicate service updates and important notices
• To improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns

3. AI Processing

Your CV and profile data are sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic and/or OpenAI) to generate evaluations, CVs, and other content. These providers process your data according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not send your data to AI providers for any purpose other than generating the content you request.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Convex, a secure cloud database. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not store payment card details -- all payment processing is handled by our payment processor.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• AI Providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) -- to generate content you request
• Payment Processor -- to handle subscription billing
• Infrastructure Providers (Convex, hosting) -- to operate the Service

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the Service.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through the Settings page
• Update your profile, CV, and preferences at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting support
• Export your data by contacting support
• Withdraw consent for data processing by deleting your account

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management via NextAuth.js). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that track individual users.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. AI-generated content (evaluations, CVs) is retained as part of your account data.

9. Children's Privacy

DoersWorld is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
